How Dogs See Color
Are dogs able to see color? They see the colors green, yellow and orange as yellowish, and they see violet and blue as blue. Blue green is seen as gray. One amusing or odd fact is that the most popular color for dogs toys today are red or safety orange. Research has confirmed that dogs actually do see color, but fewer colors than humans do.
As for reading I once saw someone trying to teach their dog to read using cue cards. The dog was pretty smart because she showed the dog a cue card to lie on its' back and the dog did it!
..But Can Dogs Read?
As for reading I once saw someone trying to teach their dog to read using cue cards. The dog was pretty smart because she showed the dog a cue card to lie on its' back and the dog did it!
..But Can Dogs Read?
Once a dog knows to look at a card and that it will tell them what to do, you can show them a picture and they will figure it out on their own! People think that dogs can't read because it's not an instinct, it's not natural. Uhhh . . . and humans are born knowing how to read?
But dogs can read our faces.Research findings suggest that, like an understanding best friend, they can see at a glance if we are happy, sad, pleased or angry. When humans look at a new face their eyes tend to wander left, falling on the right hand side of the person's face first. A possible reason for the tendency is that the right side of the human face is better at expressing emotional state. Researchers at the University of Lincoln have now shown that pet dogs also exhibit "left gaze bias", but only when looking at human faces. No other animal has been known to display this behaviour before. Dogs may have evolved the left gaze bias as a way to gauge our emotions.
So when you give your dog his Frontline Plus Orange, Just let him take a look at the box. He'll read your face knowing that you're happy with the dose and after that..NO MORE FLEAS!
